Oscars 2016: The Revenant en tête des nominations, Le Tout Nouveau Testament recalé
L’Académie a dévoilé ce jeudi les nommés à l’édition 2016 des Oscars, parmi lesquels The Revenant, d’Alejandro González Iñárritu et avec Leonardo DiCaprio, fait figure de favori grâce à ses 12 nominations. Le Tout Nouveau Testament de Jaco Van Dormael a malheureusement été écarté.
The Revenant, d’Alejandro Inarritu et avec Leonardo DiCaprio, part en tête de la course aux Oscars avec 12 mentions, a annoncé jeudi l’Académie des arts et sciences du cinéma, qui remettra ces prix prestigieux le 28 février.
Mad Max: Fury Road, de George Miller, suit avec 10 nominations, avec ensuite The Martian de Ridley Scott affichant 7 mentions, a précisé l’Académie depuis son siège de Beverly Hills.
The Revenant est notamment cité dans les catégories du meilleur film, du meilleur réalisateur et du meilleur acteur.
Huit films ont été sélectionnés dans la course à l’Oscar du meilleur film: The Big Short: Le Casse du siècle, Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Martian, The Revenant, Room et Spotlight.
Ont été nommés pour l’Oscar du meilleur réalisateur Adam McKay (The Big Short), George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road), Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (The Revenant), Lenny Abrahamson (Room), et Tom McCarthy (Spotlight).
Leonardo DiCaprio est nommé dans la course à l’Oscar du meilleur acteur, aux côtés de Bryan Cranston (Trumbo), Matt Damon (The Martian), Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs), et Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl).
La Britannique francophile Charlotte Rampling figure dans la course à l’Oscar de la meilleure actrice, ainsi que Cate Blanchett (Carol), Brie Larson (Room), Jennifer Lawrence (Joy), et Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn).
Si Le Tout Nouveau Testament de Jaco Van Dormael n’a finalement pas été retenu, le film français Mustang est nommé dans la course à l’Oscar du meilleur film en langue étrangère, avec Embrace of the Serpent (Colombie), Son of Saul (Hongrie), Theeb (Jordanie), et A War (Danemark).
